Quality Assurance Associate II

Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. is a biotechnology company applying human embryonic stem (“ES”) cell technology in the emerging field of regenerative medicine. We own or license over 300 patents and patent applications related to the field of stem cell therapy, nuclear transfer which allows the production of stem cells genetically matched to the patient, and a reduced complexity library of stem cells for acute clinical applications.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Associate II.

Responsibilities Include

Works on Quality-related problems of diverse scope and recommends course of action to senior management
Responsible for raw material program- material tracking, testing review and material release
Material Review Board lead and organizer
Batch Record review and CoA creation
Assist in database validation, as necessary
System Administrator for electronic documentation system

Requirements

Requires a Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Assurance role is required.
This role requires ability to independently assess situations based on knowledge of FDA regulations; direct experience with cell therapy or biologics products is preferred.
