Advanced Cell Technology To Webcast 2011 Annual Stockholder's Meeting To be Held on Thursday, June 9th

Company to Address Questions from Shareholders Submitted Electronically

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - June 3, 2011 - Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. ("ACT"; OTC Bulletin Board: ACTC), a leader in the field of regenerative medicine, announced today that it will webcast its Annual Stockholder's Meeting to be held on Thursday, June 9th. The webcast will begin at 9:30 am pacific time, after the Company completes the formal portion of the meeting, where results of proxy voting will be announced. At that time, Gary Rabin, ACT's interim Chairman and CEO, along with other members of the management team, will deliver a Company presentation and address questions from shareholders.

The presentation will be available live and via replay on the home page of ACT's website at: http://www.advancedcell.com.

Investors may submit questions to jyoung@ceocast.com with the subject line "Shareholder Meeting" up until 4 p.m. eastern time on Wednesday, June 8th. The Company will address as many questions as time permits.
