Combivent

4.7 rating

Combivent is a combination medication used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It contains an anticholinergic bronchodilator (ipratropium bromide) and a selective beta2-adrenergic bronchodilator (albuterol sulfate). The medicine is taken by inhalation. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways so that the airways open up and you can breathe more easily.

This medicine is more popular than other beta-agonist/anticholinergic combinations.
